Nitrox / Trimix and Tech Diving

     Subtropic Dive Center is Key Wests' premier destination for divers of all levels.  While most shops cater only to recreational SCUBA divers and snorkerlers, Subtropic serves the needs of those divers who wish to go deeper, stay down longer, and see more of the underwater world.  In addition to offering Nitrox and Trimix fills and tech gear rentals, we run special Tech-only trips to some of the deeper wrecks Key West has to offer.  We also welcome tech divers on our daily 2-tank Vandenberg morning dive trips.

     Need to buy some new toys? We've got you covered - we sell Dive Rite, Hollis, IST, Liquivision, Waterproof, Zeagle, and more.  Want to get certified in Technical Diving?  We offer TDI instruction.  We offer "doorstep diving," with our boats located here right outside our door, and plenty of free parking.

Nitrox

Most of our customers are now diving with Nitrox, so we have reduced the rate to $10 per fill! (32%) We bank 32% which is perfect for the Vandenberg. The superstructure being between 60ft and 100ft.

Trimix

Price varies on mix. Please let us know what mix you would like at time of booking, so we can have it ready for you.

Tech Diving

Our Tech Instruction runs on a weekly basis. Come and learn to Tech dive on the Vandenberg in the warm waters of Key West.If you do not have your own Tech setup we offer them at very discounted rates. We are dealers for Dive Rite, IST, Hollis and Zeagle. Call us to purchase yours for your next class. We also have sets for rental, on and off the premises. Including steel and aluminum doubles/stage bottles and regulators.

We often run trips out to the Curb, Wilkes Barre and many of Key Wests' other deep wrecks.We also offer Tech certifications (see the instruction link for more info)  Give us call, and find out where the next trip is going...

Price is for trip only and does not include gear rental or gas mixes
A Deposit of 25% must be paid 2 weeks prior to trip
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least one week before the trip
